If you order a cheesesteak, you will get steak and cold shredded cheese on a cold bun. Any hint offered by the menu of a grilled onion or a pepper was just a joke or maybe a suggestion. Your mashed potatoes are powdered, and watery. Your server will stare at your food for a while when it is ready, daydreaming about another life, before deciding to bring it to you. My daughter got a cheeseburger and that was alright. If you keep your standards pretty low, it’s probably tolerable. I wouldn’t go back, I’d get cashews at a gas station and wait for a better way to spend my money.

I've been here twice now and all-in-all it's been consistent with the food. The chicken bagel was delicious and the baked apples are to die for, other than that I make better food at home, honestly.

I had to make a run to the vets office with my cat this morning and had to skip breakfast so I slid into the Whistle Stop Grill for breakfast. I got the Pool Room with two Med fried eggs, fried baloney,potatoes, and a biscuit with sausage gravy on the potatoes. Everything wS perfect except the eggs which were over cooked and I even made sure to ask the server if they could cook over medium eggs and she assured me they could but it was not to be. People ask Why don't you send them back and the problem with that is the rest of the food gets cold while you are waiting for them to cook the eggs over again, so I just the eggs . Next time I will order them over easy and see what happens. The service was fantastic and the coffee was good and hot just the way it should be. Next time when I go back to try lunch I will get the hamburger steak with two sides cause the steak is 8 ounces!
