I have never taken a tour but had friends that worked there. I was given some wine to taste but I am not much of a wine drinker, all I have ever tasted was bitter wines but I hear great things about this beautiful place. Maybe one day I will be able to find a sweet tasting wine from Grace Estates!

Having visited Grace Estates when we visit Charlottesville, we found the Winery to be a focal point to our Crozet trip. The Winery is upbeat with a nice outside area. The wine list has 2 levels with all wines tasty and varied for most palettes. A definite visit for a Winery experience.

A friend of mine and I were on our way to a winery earlier this year during a snow blizzard and saw the signage for the Grace Estate Winery. For some reason both of us suggested we change course.. And we were not disappointed. The venue itself was warm (amazing fireplace); simply and elegant. We made ourselves comfortable on the ledge sofa in front of the fire place and enjoyed an amazing wine tasting experience. It was also wonderful to learn about Grace Estate’s history and position in the local community as well as it’s role with other wineries. It’s one of the places that I can be there with friends as much as I can come on my own to have a quiet drink. While it’s too far to be my local, it’s worth that extra drive.
