This is such a fun place! I wish I’d have booked another night. Originally just wanted a cabin to sleep & shower after hiking in Hocking Hills with my son. Happened to see Ravenwood Castle had rustic cabins (but they have A/C and a lot of amenities). Good price - breakfast included. Even if it rains there is a library and a lot of indoor space to visit. We hiked up the trail from Huntsman Hollow to the Castle to have a butterbeer float in the pub. And there are scavenger hunts we wanted to do but ran out of time. I would stay in any of their accommodations, castle rooms, cottages or the cozy cabins like the one we stayed in.

Great castle, unique rooms, nice cabins. Staff are very nice. The scenery is great. The castle has a multitude of unique items and the detail of some of the woodwork is awesome. We will definitely return.

I loved this hotel! The food was good and the staff were delightful. It is fairly remote, which I didn't mind but if that is an issue for you may not want to go. They do have on site internet so you can still be connected if you don't have service. If you don't mind the drive and love board gaming I can't recommend Ravenwood enough!

This place is AMAZING! I took my girlfriend for Valentine’s Day weekend and couldn’t have picked a better spot. The castle is gorgeous and nestled away in the peace and beauty of Hocking Hills. The food served in the Raven’s Roost Pub and the Great Hall is delicious and reasonably priced. The drink selection is great and also at a great price (try the Butterbeer!). The staff is so friendly and helpful no matter where you are and what you need. And I cannot believe how affordable our trip was! We are definitely coming back ASAP!

I'm not sure, we made our reservations for the feast as part of our room reservation. They do have a "pub menu" that you can order from between noon and 10pm if I remember correctly. I recommend calling them ahead of time to find out. While there we only saw guests and staff, and everything was billed through the room.

We have reservations for this weekend. Are there kids activities? Good local places to explore?

They have a million board games (give or take 😉), outdoor chess, hiking trails, and its a relatively short drive to lazer tag, go karts, mini-golf, caves, etc. Their office has a ton of brochures outlining nearby activities. When we went, there was no cell service in the castle as well as no wifi available so keep that in mind.
