We stayed in the green cottage and there was dog hair all over the floors and on sofa. The kitchen floor wS dirty and bathroom as well. They close at 8pm so we could not go the office to inform them of this issue. While checking out on June 22, 2022 we told the young gentleman who checked us put and all he said he would let owner know last guest had dog in cottage.

We stayed at Boxwood Lodge. Perfect location to accommodate our snowboarding trip as well as the dining and shops in downtown Blowing Rock. Contactless check-in/out was very simple, hot water, comfortable beds, no issues at all! Will definitely stay again if we visit the area another time!

My wife and I showed up without a reservation. Jessie found us the room we wanted within our price range. She made the experience easy and even went to another property to find my wife a toothbrush that didn't get packed. The rooms were clean and spacious. I recommend staying in one of the cottages. It felt like being at home.
