Today I had my first customer service call since the switchover from Wave to Astound. Excellent service! The customer service rep was eager to fix my problem and even suggested money saving advice. The call was over the chat service with little waiting time. Friendly, knowledgeable, and, in the end, resolved my problem saving me more money than I thought possible. I was not sure about my switch a few months ago from one of the BIG providers, but this validates the change.

Price, and speeds are fine but having three nights in a row of hour long outages which all occurred outside of their support period is more than disappointing. Have a service appointment in three days from now so hopefully a resolution can be had otherwise despite the otherwise positive experiences the reliability is a non starter with continuing service

Installation was on time, quick, and the technician took the extra care to ensure that we got the connection exactly where I wanted. Service has been pretty solid; however, no one can explain to me that despite having a fiber line that terminates to coax at my house why the upload speeds are so abysmal. 10 Mbps up is pretty laughable for any heavy usage and I wish it could be increased or at best be synchronistic (aka a true fiber connection)

I've been ripped off by this scam of a company for 4 years because the condo complex made a exclusive deal with them. My rate for 250 Mb internet only with a 4+ year old modem is $100/ month!!! I received a new customer offer for twice the speed for $40 a month and Wave will not honor it. I've paid this scam of a company over $5,000 in 4 years and they do nothing to keep my business. It's simple, stop discriminating against me and give me the new customer offer or get zero dollars from me and negative reviews on every public forum I can find to warn potential customers about Waves discriminatory practices.

In Walnut Creek, T Mobile has a backup generator for its' cell site located at Trotter Way. When electrical power fails, this generator cuts in and keeps the cell site functional. Astound elected to not make this costly equipment as part of its' original installation years ago. If you have T-Mobile as your cell phone carrier you can use it as your hotspot. AT&TT also has a cell site here but it does not have a backup generator. It relies on battery power which will last approximately 8 hours based on traffic across the tower. Then AT&T will require a portable generator to be trucked in to provide power for their site.
Unfortunately, we do not service this location. We are always looking to expand the areas we service. However, there are no specific plans pertaining to your area at this time.
