This is a nice, serviceable station. There's a lot nearby if you wish to drive here and get the train to Secaucus, Hoboken or Port Authority. It appears to be well kept and nicely lit in the evening. You also have access to nearby buses …

Large parking area at this Essex street station of light rail. Permit as well as 90 daily metered $3.00 spots. Free on weekends.Two shelters to get out of the weather. Bike racks. Handicap ramp.

There is no direct train.. But you can take pascack valley line and change at Secaucus. You can buy ticket directly from Essex to Newark and change on same ticket.
