A temporary worker was apparently making a decent amount of delivery errors due in part to short-staffing this location is experiencing, I was affected by this and I was very upset. I filed a claim and a person at this office got right to me (via phone) and let me air some grievances and then helped me figure out what to do next. Further, the rest of the team at this office were also very diligent and kind in trying to help me navigate what the next steps would possibly be. The package I was expecting was somewhat expensive but more importantly of very sentimental value to me so I was really sweatin’ it hard. I ended up coming in to check if someone turned in said package and I ended up speaking with a supervisor. I was able to let him know my feelings on the matter; he received my statements and questions warmly, kindly, and patiently. It helped me be able to regulate the stress of the situation a lot easier- the feeling of being heard while not being totally (or in this case at all) blown off is hugely comforting. The other MVP here is our regular carrier- when they returned, they went above and beyond and actually found my package and delivered it to me today (thanks in part to the folks that received by mistake it and wrote “NOT MY HOUSE” lol). Thanks to this office for giving it a rounded try to find my very important package.

In 4/21/22, the woman on duty is unprofessional. I asked to borrow a tape to seal my envelop to mail to Asia. This woman clerk reacted saying “ that they should charge extra for the tape because people are getting use to it. “ I mean that tape I use was only about less than 4 inches to seal my envelop going to Philippines because I want it securely sealed. Very rude and unprofessional.

I live in another state, but my parents live in the jurisdiction of this post office, and over the past few years, EVERY SINGLE CARD they have sent for birthdays, holidays, etc. has been ripped open, then sloppily taped back together and sent late. They used to send money for special occasions, and ALL OF IT has been stolen (one time they sent over 200 dollars to my aunt, and that was also stolen). It's criminal (literally) that mail service in the United States could be so corrupt! We just know and expect now that every card we receive will have been ripped open beforehand and looted (now they don't send money, but the cards are still ripped open). There needs to be some kind of security system for mail sorting to catch these thieves. This has been occurring for years, and is a disgrace to the United States Postal Service.

Arrived before posted closing hours, yet door is locked. I sat outside for a few mins trying to figure out if I was even at the right place. Then other customers walked out. Confused I tried to go in again. Door locked. Door opened and then they lectured others about how it was past closing time, yet I arrived before that. I appreciate that they took my package, yet recommend they don't keep the door locked or maybe better signage to communicate if there's a specific process as it makes it very confusing as is.
