Thank you for the question. Beginning November 30th all of our caregivers will be either vaccinated or will be tested weekly for COVID.
What makes California CareGiver's the choice of many families since 2012 is that we are a locally owned, family run business. Which means we aren't another corporate business without local representation. We actually care about our clients and their families. If there are any issues that can't be resolved by our office staff there aren't many layers to get to the owners of our business. One of our owners is a Registered Nurse who trains all of our caregivers and oversees all of our clients which means our clients get the added value in the form of a trained pair of medical eyes to oversee our clients which other companies won't have because you don't need a Registered Nurse to run an In-Home Care company. Additionally we have the most highly rated reviews in the Sacramento area amongst the different review platforms on the internet.
Yes, all of our caregivers go through a DOJ/FBI fingerprint background check and are consequently registered with the State of California.

All the caregivers on our team that help with clients who suffer from Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Stroke, ALS or clients who are recovering from a fall or surgery are our own employees. That means all of our employees are covered by our worker's comp insurance and are bonded.
California CareGivers does take Worker's comp or Worker's compensation insurance as payment. We have the ability to direct bill providers such as Corlife and Orchid Medical.
California CareGivers does take Long Term Care Insurance. We are able to able to direct bill Long Term Care Insurance providers such as CalPERS, Genworth, John Hancock, Metlife, CNA Long Term Care Insurance, Mass Mutual, Thrivent, Anthem, Long Term Federal and River Source.
For all of our clients who suffer from Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Stroke, ALS or clients who are recovering from a fall or surgery; we help them with activities of daily living which consist of help with bathing, toileting, dressing, food preparation, medication reminders, transportation and ensuring that they are safe in the home. We also help with light housekeeping such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, taking out the garbage and help with the laundry.
