I have not heard anything good about this place besides they give a space for girls to be safe i guess. I know they receive funds to help better the ladies, but they need to use that for the women and not the house. How about you stop being a holding unit and pay for the pregnant mothers a place of their own. Otherwise, shut the place down for not listening. They dont want to be forced to do therapy which is needing to stop and let them be free. release them to themself. You did your duty, so fund them a stay in any motel or housing white lady.

The house "mothers" are nasty, overly strict and very judgmental. This charity gets a lot of donations from the public both in terms of money and items. They have the girls get WIC and food stamps to further reduce their costs. They force their own brand of Christianity on you while not practicing the principles themselves. Overall atmosphere is creepy.

It was a honor to work at Mother's Refuge [before my retirement] and to meet girls who chose to give life to their baby, finish high school, learn how to provide a safe home for their new family, and in many cases enroll in college to start their career. Teenage pregnancy is not the end of life. it can be the beginning---for those willing to do the hard work of re-writing their life! Kudos to Mother's Refuge for providing a hand up for these pioneers!

Mother's Refuge is a wonderful facility, helping young mothers and their babies. They are an invaluable part of our community, empowering young mothers with guidance and life skills necessary to make it on their own. Thank you Mother's Refuge!!!

I don’t believe so I see young girls there. They seem really nice in the office. I would call them. They seem to genuinely want to help.
We take Mom's who are 12 to 21 who are pregnant, homeless only
The basic criteria is to be a homeless, pregnant female between the ages of 12-21. Other considerations are if they have room for you and you need to be willing to work comply with their program. There are house rules and responsibilities.
