I would like to revise my previous review & rating. VCF has taken to heart some of my previous comments and now include an excellent "What We Believe" statement on their website. It is very helpful. I now look forward to again visiting VCF, meeting more of their friendly congregation, and talking with Pastor Greenhalgh for the first time. I appreciate also VCF keeping in touch with me.

I visited a year ago (Spanish Church). A very friendly place. However, hard folding chairs were very uncomfortable to sit on. I was more disappointed though that VCF did not list a "Statement of Beliefs" on their website. This I looked for to know if this church were still Reformed or not (they are). The only thing that has changed is their name and the pastor.

Yes, there are multiple classes, support/fellowship groups along with men's and women's ministries.
Laura, this Sunday (3/15) being designated as a National Day of Prayer by the president, I would assume that they would be open. Call the listed phone# on their website to be sure. A recording should play.
Sunday service starts at 10:15 am.
To join, write a short note with your phone number on one if the offering envelopes or if an info card is in the pew (or ask the office secretary for an appointment). At the appointment, bring your Baptism Certificate (or the contact info of the church where you were baptized). At the meeting with the Padtor and one or two church officers, they will have a few questions for you. They may aporove your joining at that time or notify you a short time later.

When I joined the church (just prior to the hiring of Pastor Derek) it was a Baptist church. He quickly wanted the name of the church changed. The congregation submitted suggested new names, but have no idea how the new name was actually selected. I stopped attending after it stopped being a Baptist church.
