Great Physician actually took the time to read my old reports and was first Dr to explain all the problems I have with my back! Couldn't ask for a better place 5 stars all the way!

I’ve had several cervical neck epidurals. It couldn’t have been easier. The nurses were friendly, the facility was clean, and there was no rush to get me in and out. Like epidurals for lumbar pain, the neck epidurals decreased the pain level in the neck, and I do suggest that patients ask their doctor for a referral to get neck epidurals. They help enough to sleep at night. And they are not painful to do.

I was with them 6 years, care was great in the beginning. In the end I was on 50mcg fentanyl patch and 30mg of Oxycodone...they took me off of my Oxycodone in a month with nothing to help ease side effects and nothing else in it's place. Because I suffer from PTSD and have Anxiety she told me to go and talk to my Psychiatrist (like the pain was in my head) he said there was nothing he could do, he was not that kind of a doctor. They have written unfair and untrue statements in my file...If you are a patient ask for a copy of your file to see what they're saying about you. Now I'm trying to get my record cleared so I can find another doctor...pain doesn't just go away. The doctors coming in now have no knowledge, in fact they aren't even doctors...most are NPC. The reason they say they took me off my meds was because I was becoming dependent...not sure why they didn't do pill counts every month if they thought this was an issue. Do not go here!

If you're really looking for pain management I do not recommend this place. It has only gone downhill regarding the quality of care a patient receives. Their focus seems to be on the R.O.A.D. recovery program that is housed downstairs from the pain clinic (and owned by pain care) which one can hear all about, on the phone, while waiting on hold to talk to someone at pain care. The quality of providers has significantly decreased and has become a revolving door with knowledgeable providers leaving and non-qualified providers in pain management coming in. Even looking at the providers they have listed on their web site it is not updated as many have left. If you want comprehensive pain management care this is not the place to go to.

Questions & Answers

Does Granite state pain clinic prescribe opioid pain medicine that cannot be helped any other treatment. I refuse shots and any form of surgery? I have no disc in bottom of back.

Yes

Missing disc in bottom of tailbone. Watched my husband go through all avenues to try and manage his back pain with no success. I do not want to go through any of it. Do you put people on a lot in medication regimen and monitor them?
