The rumor is: After more than 8 years local guitar fixture, host, and performer Chris Dracup has not been asked to return to the Brickyard Pizza to act as a ring master for the weekly acoustic/anything-goes open-mic. This hiatus sounds permanent. Arguably the most popular feature of Brickyard Pizza; the open mic was often the most reliable, crowded, accessible performance space for emerging and seasoned talent. Dracup continues to perform around NM and ABQ, but his departure from Brickyard Pizza is definitely the end of an era.

Be agressive and yell out yo... can I please order my pizza? That's what I did last time to get my servers attention! That place gets loud and they can't hear you.
