Chipotle Mexican Grill

My second visit to a Chipolte restaurant. This was a different location. The first thing you notice as you walk in is that the empty tables are very dirty. So not a lot of spots to sit down to eat. The floor was also dirty. As we got up to the ordering station you could see the area that your food is actually put together on was very dirty. Spilled food sitting on the counter. Smudges of some kind. We also noticed that the grill was not clean either. There were what appeared to be burnt and dried out pieces of meat scatteted randomly across it. I ordered a burrito. They packed it with lots of rice and beans but very little meat. That could have been because most of the meat pans had very little meat in them. But you go out to eat for tasty, quality food. Last location I visited had me wanting to come back for more. What I got served here was super salty and very dry. Had I come to this location for my first visit, I would have never come back. It was an expensive burrito filled mostly with rice and beans. My wife's experience here was similar,very lacking in the taste department. It was so much better before. We went in the middle of the afternoon hoping that it would be a nice time to visit. I think it back fired on us and we ended up with the lunch leftovers. I will give the first location a second try but I don't think I'll be back to this one.

On 6/13/2022 Monday, we came in between 3pm-4pm. Ordered 2 beef/steak burritos. Meat was dry, beans and rice and burrito was all cold. Woman at register did not greet us, or smile, or say much of anything. Burritos tasted bland cafeteria style. This was not what I remember from my first visit. I figured maybe the time of day we went in wasn't a good time? Will not be returning. Bummer.

Good quality food every time, just wish when I place an app order I would get my food on the “promise time” and not 10-20 minutes after the fact. Poor timing never fails here. If you choose 7:10 in the app don’t show up until 730

I am sadden today to write this review. The smoke brisket had brought me back to chipotle but now it may lead me away. Tonight I bought two bowls because of the Halloween deal. I understand how busy it is, but your quality of product still has to be edible. Both my brisket bowls were completely burnt. The meat tasted so bitter.
