Great place to take young children. This place is suitable for kids 8 and under. There are two levels of activites, including a grocery store, doughnut shop, old wooden toys, library, and more. Plan to spend a couple of hours here. They have a vending machine for snacks and drinks and parking is free.

It was different than other children museums I have been to. So many worlds created for imagination. It was so fun to see the kids collaborate with other kids to make things work. The exhibit with old fashioned toys was really fun.

Absolutely loved this place! We were in town visiting and looking for somewhere kid-friendly. The price can't be beat, and there are tons of hands on, kid-friendly activities for all ages. There's also story time with a library of books!

This is a wonderland for kids. We took our 14 month old there and there are plenty of activities for him to do even at such a young age. I am so thankful this wretched mask mandate is over because the majority of parents weren’t forcing their toddlers to wear masks and my son actually got to socialize normally with other kids. We will definitely be back.

We have a membership to the Western NC Nature Center so it is free every time we go! Highly suggest the membership even though the Nature Center is in Asheville.
