We have a family pass here so we can bring the kids any time. It's always nice to see the animals and with the park near by it makes it a fun afternoon.

My Grandson and I had so much fun! First, we visited the zoo, decked out for Halloween with live mermaids and a friendly shark roaming about. Next, he rode every ride in the kiddie amusement park, then made his way to the play structures in the park. He was making friends as he played, finding a little buddy to share a second round of rides in the amusement park. For lunch we found a picnic table under a shady tree, staying cool while we enjoyed our sandwiches. It was our first time at this park, but we'll definitely go again.

Small zoo but animals are well taken care of and the zoo puts on excellent events multiple times a year

Applegate zoo always needs donations and if they can't use it they'll give it to someone who does like S.P.C.A. for instance regarding towels that is 😉

Yes, they are open. It's a nice stroll with the little ones.
The day before Easter is usually when they have everything going on
5 per adult and 3 dollars per kid for the zoo. The park is free.
