Jon and his team are amazing! At every step along the way, they were kind, courteous, and professional. My GMC Arcadia was shuttering and needed a transmission and the guys troubleshot the problem without ever once showing discouragement or uncertainty. They even pay attention to detail, Jon notices I had a “CARMAX” sticker on the back on my SUV and call to see if I had warranty still. Man, oh man he is the best!!! I didn’t even know it was still available. Save me a ton of money for a Veteran that just Retired and not working. I’m grateful for Jon assistance and I even got a rental while my GMC was being repaired. They had my transmission rebuilt and replaced in less than a week. From initial contact to final pick-up, Jon communicated well and made sure I was comfortable with every step of the process. I cannot recommend this shop enough! This is THE PLACE in Mint Hill where Quality and Reasonable cost meet and where service extends beyond even the second mile! I was starting to give up hope in finding a good, honest and trustworthy shop to take care of my vehicle and not take advantage of me until this past week when I found Jon and AAMCO. The minute I walked in the door the level of courtesy and respect he showed me was remarkable. I have struggled with vehicle issues with my Jeep Wrangler for about two years. John and his team are amazing. I was a Service Manager in the area and used John for many years, He was a fantastic business partner and the customers were always happy. Recently I bought a 1975 VW Transporter Westfalia camper bus with a rare automatic transmission. Well, on the way home from this purchase the transmission went out and it had to be towed to John's facility. John was upfront and honest about his limited experience on these vehicles, still John took on the task of helping me get this fixed for my new wife and growing family. John ended up finding out exactly the transmission type, which was not easy and where to find one, which was only on the west coast. After spending ample amounts of his own time in research and sourcing he was able to get in everything we needed to have a fully functioning transmission that he and my family could stand behind. I would recommend this Ammco to anyone in need of good quality service. The pricing was more than fair, the quality of the work was exceptional and the customer care was far beyond anyone in this industry. Thanks John and your team!!!!

Honest and Trustworthy! I recently purchased a used car with a warranty, 6 days after purchase the air conditioning did not work, Jon was able to get me in the same day, went over the entire vehicle and the air problem was operator error not mechanical. He could have easily recommended a zillion repairs under warranty but was honest and said the car was in great shape, WOW you do not find an honest repair shop anymore and they have now earned a lifelong customer!! Thank you Jon for the amazing customer service, if only 10 stars were available instead of just five-Well Done!
