My spouse received quality care during the days he spent at Cedar Healthcare Center. The social worker, nurses, visiting doctor and all other services were consistently professional caring and kind.

Clipper Harbor is a wonderful community. Although my relationship is professional I can tell you my interests are emotional. We have had many of our community's residents stay at Clipper Harbor for rehab with wonderful progress! We have had others who have successfully transitioned to Clipper Harbor when they were in need of Long Term Care, and we have even had our future residents thrive utilizing a private Respite stay, to gain the progress they needed to be successful in an Assisted Living or Memory Care environment. Clipper Harbor has proven to be a top notch healthcare facility with people who care and work hard to accommodate whatever situation they can!

My mother was in Independent Living and in Assisted Living so I can only review that side of the facility. The dedicated staff is the most valuable asset--and they are great. They are dedicated and work indefatigably to support the residents. From housekeeping to the executive director -- and, of course, the nursing staff -- they worked hard and went out of their way to make my mother's nearly four-year stay successful. Yes, it would be much better if there was more staff but all of these places are understaffed! Yes, the hallways look tired, but my mother had a great one-bedroom apartment! I can say unequivocally that every staff member with whom my mother worked had a big heart and made every effort to work effectively with my mother (who was very challenging at the end of her stay, before she returned to her home state). I can't imagine a place working harder to make her stay successful.

Honestly, Clipper Harbor has its ups and downs just like any place but I can personally attest that the staff is genuinely caring. I have seldom seen a group of such dedicated and caring individuals in my life. It is not uncommon to see people from every department (even HR that doesn't specifically work with residents) talking with residents in their common area. The team works tirelessly to make Clipper Harbor the best it can be for it's residents and to make people feel like this is the place to have their loved one stay.
