Get away from the highway, and explore some! Ride your mountain bike down Black Dragon Canyon (East) starting from Exit 131 using road 332 to start. It's a jeep trail, not single track, but it keeps a smile on your face. Get a map, like MTB Project because there are lots of turns. Or start at the bottom and ride up and back. Fun distraction with awesome scenery in an otherwise long drive.

Gorgeous stop. There is a quick, overlook so that is absolutely worth your time. There are restrooms at the stop, but even if you don't need them, the overlook is stunning and gives tough a moment to really see and enjoy the beauty you have been driving through.
