Great place to bike or walk and view wildlife. Saw a lovely tortoise and some cool birds while passing through this preserve to Robinson. Great gravel trails that are nicely maintained and flat. Some parts of the preserves trails and the main lookout spot are not shaded, so bring water and keep that in mind.

Sprawling preserve with a variety of habitat types and a wide array of resident wildlife. A great place for birdwatching, nature photography, tracking, and foraging. On my visit, I spotted several species of wading birds and waterfowl, as well as tracks left by wild boar, coyotes, bobcats, and raccoons. They even have a bike trail. Definitely the best wildlife preserve in the area.

A great way to see nature and get some exercise at the same time. There are lots of birds in the area. It's free too.

Great well-maintained park. We walked about 1.5 miles, mostly around a lake. Very little shade. Nice lookout platforms, benches, and even 2 covered swinging benches that were relaxing. The large lake has a small island with man made nest platforms, which is nice, but it was covered in fake plastic flamingoes, which was a little weird. Great preserve with interpretive signs. Loved it.

Agree, it's about a mile around and flat trails (dirt, gravel and mulch). Easy to navigate.
Yes there are. Some trails are for foot traffic only.
