This two pillar bridge connects the North End downtown area with Bunker Hill. It's an impressive structure, which was nice to walk over, drive over and see it from the harbor cruise. Certainly, one of Boston landmarks.

Absolutely gorgeous scenery. I saw it from a distance and wondered what the heck it could be, and then found out it’s a bridge! The architecture is somewhat reminiscent of the ropes which hold up the sail of an old boat; maybe a reference to the USS constitution.

The normal lights are blue, but, on occasion, the city decides to support some cause: pink for breast cancer awareness etc, but also to celebrate holidays or cheer on the local sports teams with their colors.
