I’ve been bringing my 2 cats to stay at Red Dog Boston for a few years now and can’t say enough great things about how well they treat them. This past week I left them in their favorite “home away from home” while I traveled to Europe and received some terrible news that wasn’t all together unexpected. My eldest cat who was 18 and suffering from congestive heart failure passed away peacefully in his sleep during my trip. The staff at Red Dog could not have been better to him and his little brother in the aftermath. As horrible as it is to lose a furry loved one, it’s comforting to know that he passed in his sleep and in a place that he felt so safe and loved with his brother. The caring team at Red Dog are the best my little kitties have ever been treated to and I would highly recommend them to everyone looking for daycare or a longer stay!

I have literally had to pick my golden retriever up and physically carry him out of the lobby because he flat out refuses to leave at the end of the day. Every single staff member I have interacted with has been unbelievable, and the love for all the dogs is very clear. 11 out of 10.

Over the weekend we used Red Dogs services in Boston Southampton and they are fantastic! I was beyond stressed and sad to leave my dog Weasley behind for the night, but the staff and cleanliness of the place really amazed me. I was blown away with their care, attention and standard of service. One employee by the name of Jared, made us feel reassured that our little boy was in the best of hands. He was kind, empathetic, and overall a wonderful employee. We were especially impressed with how attentive Jared was with providing us updates and photos of Weasleys time at the daycare. I would use Red Dog again in a heart beat! 10/10 recommend their amazing resort. Thank you again! We will be back!

Red Dog is a great place to send your dog for daycare. We have sent our energetic dog for about 8 months now, and he looks forward to going so much he caught on to which days he is probably going. The staff are communicative, cordial, and efficient. After a few stays, they will likely know and love your dog. Your dog will have fun. After all that fun, they'll come home, love on you, and probably get some of that GOOD rest 😂

Absolutely! We encourage all of our clients to take a tour of Red Dog to see for the resort for themselves! Taking a tour will give you the opportunity to choose your pet’s room type and see exactly what their day will look like when they stay over with us at Red Dog. Tours are given 7 days a week during our open lobby hours. To ensure the safety of all of our guests, we ask that your dog or cat stays home when joining us for a tour.

Our Doggie Daycare program is where dogs are grouped by activity level and interaction with other dogs, to play in our indoor/outdoor play areas. All dogs are required to complete an evaluation before being placed in a play group. Day Stay is a great alternative option for pet guests that are not a good match for Doggie Daycare. Dogs that do not pass the Daycare evaluation will be placed into Day Stay instead. Some of the factors that may require Day Stay for your dog: * Dogs that do not pass the Daycare Evaluation * Aggressive dogs that do not play well with other dogs * Decreased mobility issues * Unneutered males and unspayed females over 6 months * Shy or uncomfortable dogs in group settings

Hi Donna, we can administer medications but unfortunately we do not do injections. We feel strongly that it should be done by a veterinary professional due to insulin being so important. We recommend checking out local animal hospitals that offer overnight care.
Hi Brian, all dogs are walked outside 4 times a day. If you sign up for doggie daycare (need an evaluation if first time) then all dogs are with other dogs their same size and temperament. But if you are not signed up for daycare while boarding all dogs are taken out separately.

Yes you can board your cat and get them groomed. Must be up to date on shots.
Can grooming be done on a same day appointmen is mafe?
