Upon arriving at 1257 they close at 1. The guy was not happy. He said he wanted to go home. And then told me he could not take 75 percent of my stuff.. proceded to be rude. And then tried charging me 55 dollars for 3 tires and a chair and 2 small things. He didn't want to help me. I ended up driving off and being pretty mad. This guy was rude from the moment I pulled up.

Staff has always been helpful, but they charge for scrap metal....what the heck....

Not the brightest people work here. They like to boss you around. Clean scrap metal and you have to pay?

Hi Kevin, Sorry for the late response. Small box springs are $10. Large are $18. Here's a link to all of our fees: https://nwswd.org/locations-and-fees/fees/ --Aaron, NWSWD
Hi Anne, Sincerely sorry that we're just now responding to this! Google isn't sending these questions to our main email inbox so we didn't see your question until now! Yes, we do take them, though it's probably too late now. They're $5-$10, size dependent. Hudak Farm (https://www.hudakfarm.com/) near Warner's on the north end of St. Albans also takes them for a $5 suggested donation. Again, our apologies. Aaron NWSWD
You're asking about our Georgia location, correct? Yes, we'll take it as landfill-bound trash.
You have to call to make an appointment during the time that someone is there that can accept it.
Nope. Take it off. And if it's under 2 inches wide, it should go to scrap metal rather than the regular recycling.
