This cemetary holds the remains of 340+ people, including many if the first settlers in "lake thonotosassaRun down, never locks when "closed", street parking only and grave marker of ww2 vet leaning on fence... as of 1/2/20. Maintained by hillsborough county now. Still broken headstones from vandalism years ago.

I am hoping to start visiting this space. I want to be sure though: is this cemetery pet-friendly? I would love to bring my dog along for the company, but I also want to make sure I don’t break any rules.

per Hillsborough co parks dept they will have a no dogs sign someday, but for now...on a lead is acceptable. Just be mindful that it doesn't disturb graves. Quiet, small cemetery with good energy..thank you for checking!

I did not see his name. There are 2 other cemeteries in thonotosassa though
