Trying to get help for my mom- my Dad just died and he was her caregiver. Everyone I call says I have to go through the intake appointment before I can get services. The person who took my initial call was nice. The interviewer was kind. I can't give high ratings because I am still left with no clue after I completed the appointment. I asked what to do now and I was told to wait for a letter by the end of next month. I don't have that long. Have to go to work and there is nowhere to take her.

Best kept secret. This agency is a gem. Provides needed resources for the aging and disabled and their caregivers. Free health and wellness classes to better manage chronic conditions and improve health those 60 and over.

I work here and they can definitely help to find resources available. Please call 1-800-336-2226 and you will reach our Elder Helpline directly. I work in tech, but our helpline staff are specifically trained in helping to find housing and other resources for seniors and caregivers. Our services are free and are paid for by federal and state funding. This is what they do and have helped so many seniors find the resources they need. Best wishes to you!
I work here but am in tech/IT. Our helpline staff answer many calls, but we have limited staff at times to answer all of the calls which come in.
