I recently drove an hour and a half to this place to adopt a dog, the dog was not good with kids and high energy like we were told. We were told it was a family friendly dog.The dog bit my 2 year old and my husband and tried to bite me. When returning the dog (a week later) Today, we could not get a refund for adoption OR the 6 month supply of UNOPENED Medicine that we paid for upon adoption. ALSO, not that we want to adopt from them EVER but we have a 6 month wait on adopting from them. This place looks great and seems wonderful until you have issues you need resolved. I highly recommend avoiding adopting from them, I don’t believe a word from them. We waisted so much time and money on adopting from them AND returning.

I just want to share what an amazing job Dr.Brown did on my lil fur bestie - my little shitzu-poodle almost 14 years old suffered from a large cancerous mass that was hindering her from walking easily and causing apparent discomfort. The risk was high due to her age and we were not sure where the cancer had spread. I went ahead with the surgery and my bestie is back to her normal self. I know she won’t live forever but at least she is more comfortable for the time she has left. I was pleasantly surprised when the bill was significantly less then estimated. My bestie is only 4 weeks post op and has healed up and is doing great! Thank you Dr. Brown and all the techs at the Humane society clinic in Naples! We are truly greatful! Sincerely - Jetta and Family ❤️

All of the staff and volunteers were extremely friendly and helpful and they helped us adopt our beautiful, calm, loving and healthy puppy! Thank you so much!

I used to volunteer at the humane society during my time at University. It was a great way to relax and also get back to the community. In 2017, I returned and adopted our dog. We adopted him for $75 and he is the best dog for our family. This place is well maintained and you can tell that they really do care for the animals.

Yes they are taken for walks and playtime run around.
They do offer vaccinations for the dogs, for instance my dog was vaccinated against rabies when we adopted him at 7 months. I would call the shelter if you have a question about a specific vaccine.
Stark is still available for adoption! View more on him here: https://hsnaples.org/adopt-a-dog/?animalID=41586707
Yes. The humane society in Naples has its own vet.
You can view all their adoptable pets in live time at hsnaples.org/adopt.
Because I only work with cats, please call the shelter when it reopens. I'm sorry I'm unable to help you.
Yes
They're not currently accepting volunteers but check back in soon
check the website to see the animals that are available!
8-5 daily at our main shelter 370 Airport Pulling Road N.
Please contact the Humane Society. They will guide you for what is to be done.
For our veterinary clinic services, yes. We have several options to find the best way to make sure animals get the care they need that fits within the family's budget.
They didn't last time I checked. But it is always good to check the website every few days for updates. If you want a specific breed, try using PetFinder on the web.
Please go to hsnaples.org and begin the adoption process by filling out the virtual adoption form. After that, someone will be in contact with you within 24 hours to discuss the adoption process.
Surrenders do not have to be fully vetted or spayed/neutered. However, HSN can accept animals that are vetted and spayed/neutered more quickly in some cases because we can move them to our adoption area more quickly. Also, your estimate of the cost of our mobile vet clinic is off by a factor of about 30.
We have yet to deploy our new mobile veterinary clinic (which cost about 1/3 of your stated amount), because of COVID-19. We are excited to get out in the community to provide high-quality veterinary services at low or no cost. However, we must be mindful of the health and safety of our staff and the community at large. When we feel like it is safe to send this resource into the community, we will do so with gusto.
Yes they do. They have a low cost clinic. My friend just had her dog done.
You can find all of our dogs at hsnaples.org/adopt
No, they have to be opened to help you, I believe there hours are at 9am you can go down to talk to them but they can only take certain pets ,so I would call first, you can take all pets to collier county dept.,it is on Davis Blvd-, not the human society on airport by radio rd
Yes. For seniors 55 and older, they can get a senior pet, 7 years or older, and the adoption fee is waived.
Yes but only the cats!
We do not have a resale space.
I am not aware of any news.
Yes. Our full-service veterinary clinic does a wide range of surgical procedures. We have a full-time veterinary surgeon on staff.
Hi Pauline: Popitt? I do not understand. I am talking about Camelia. the friendly mix black and white chest lab from Puerto Rico. Arrival date was 4 Dec 4. I am her rescuer and eager to hea
She needs to make an appointment.
Yes, students can get hours for Bright Futures by volunteering as part of our Feline Fan Club or as a receptionist.
the cats would love her to come visit!!! it helps them develop and learn to trust humans. it will also help her appreciate them more too.
Humane Society Naples closed that location in December. They are opening a new satellite adoption center in the Greentree plaza off Immokalee Rd this Fall!
Yes. All animals are spayed or neutered before they hit the adoption floor at Humane Society Naples.
No. Maximus was adopted about 6 months ago. But we have a lot of other amazing dogs!
That would be a question for them. They are obligated to answer.
The cows hate that.
They have volunteers that come in to take care of the animals as well as assist with the adoption process. If you are asking in terms of animal behaviour, it helps with some but others will get attached to a volunteer and only that volunteer so it will take some work on the adopters end to socialize the animal again, but that shouldnt be a factor when adopting.
Sorry but could you specify what you are saying? This doesn't seem like a question.
Yes
No
Humane Society Naples does offer dog training courses and you can read more at hsnaples.org/training.
Always getting kittens. Keep checking.
Yes. It was done to my rescue. They also have a fully functional vet office.
I'm so sorry for your lost. That's heart breaking. My thoughts are with you and your pet/family member is with you.
Thanks i feel really bad given I've gad them since born and tried really hard finding new home they're great pets n i love them dearly just dealing with difficulties
I think 18 if under 18 then the legal guardian or parent will need to accompany the minor and sign for dog. You will also need proof of vet and home life.
