That would be a question for them. They are obligated to answer.
"No Kill" is a percentage, numbers game. If you only euthanize a small number of shelter animals, it's considered "No Kill". Example: If you have 100 animals, 3 are euthanized, it's a "No Kill". If 3% or less are euthanized, it's a "No Kill". It's a numbers, terminology and legality game.

Humane Society Naples is a no-kill shelter. As a no-kill rescue organization, they do not kill healthy or treatable animals even when the shelter is full. They reserve euthanasia for terminally ill animals or those considered dangerous to public safety.
I have heard that they are a no-kill shelter but that they - and other "no kill" shelters - have a relationship with a shelter that is not a no-kill shelter so when they have overflow they send them there. The dog still gets killed but the Humane Society doesn't take responsibility for it. So the bottom line is you can never trust that a dog won't be killed upon being put in a shelter of any kind..... I guess....
