I love the Tampa Riverwalk, this path is really nice and it's a convenient way to access a bunch of attractions near Tampa's downtown (& beyond)! If the idea of just walking the path isn't enticing enough for you, take a quick stroll just to take in the views of the Hillsborough River. They are especially lovely at sunset!

this beautiful stretch of sidewalk along the water in Downtown Tampa is one of the best parts of the city! along the pathway, there are parks to play at, bars to go to, and water taxis to take. it’s a great place for a walk, jog, or run too! there are also lots of great things to check out nearby, including the Tampa Museum of Art.

I drove three hours away to get here and enjoy my anniversary with my other half. I was recommended to walk this riverwalk or ride scooters around the area, from a coworker. You have to pay to ride the scooters you see around, including the bikes but it's all worth it. I enjoyed the few hours I was there for. A lot of people sitting in the benches and walking around, said "good morning" or were simply really friendly and the dogs were my favorite. There was a lot of good vibes, good sights to see, and I lost a lot of calories walking it. There's opportunities for you along the way to stop and wait on boat taxis is what they call them. You can rent a surf board, a kayak, and more. It's a romantic stop you have to experience before you can understand how great it is in downtown Tampa. 10/10 beautiful and a great getaway. You can find coffee shops and fancy steak or Portuguese restaurants within 5-10 miles.

Motorized e-scooters are prohibited. The e-scooters have a GPS-like technology that is supposed to slow down when going to the wrong areas. https://www.abcactionnews.com/news/region-hillsborough/cameras-capture-e-scooters-on-tampas-riverwalk-despite-being-banned
We start at the Tampa Museum of arts parking garage then walk to the Armature Works to eat.
Yes, when we were there, seen a lot of people on bikes
Poe Parking Garage or SkyPoint Short term Parking Lot would be the best POI for GPS.
Yes it's a safe area late at night, there's usually couples walking, people jogging and walking their dogs! I haven't had a bad experience, very chill and relaxing!
If you found yourself nodding to this previous sentence, don't worry, there are plenty of fishing spots for you in the Tampa area. ... You can also cast your line right next to the Tampa Riverwalk on the Garrison Channel for good Snook and Tarpon bite.
Depends where you are. The paved part of the riverwalk is bug free, but grassy areas are still subject to wildlife. Ive never needed bug spray at the Riverwalk.
Go online and Google it. You can smoke, though not many do. It's outdoors, though there is a lot of mother nature's grass smell permeating through the air.

Yes, the City of Tampa Parks and Rec Department has NOT yet opened the splash pads.
sure you can
Yes there is parking.. I used the meter. First time going and it was a beautiful night! Hope you enjoy!
I'm not sure. Have ot walk the complete distance.
Of course there is. The parking and ramps must be ADA compliant. Exactly WHERE you will find a spot depends on WHERE you access it. Look on Google maps to see parking lots by an entrance you want to use.
If you park in Ybor City you can park for $10 or less and ride the trolly over for free. It is about a 10 minute ride . Parking downtown is at least $20.
There are a lot of parking los very close to the riverwalk...20 dollar the Day. When I went There There was a hockey game in the arena... And it was very easy and Quick to get parked.
Yes you are allowed to take a to go drink from one of the several restaurants as long as it is in an approved Riverwalk plastic cup.
Yes there is! It is located at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, riverside, located in front of the benches right near the concession stand and the water feature closest to the river. There is a generic paver that reads "will you marry me?" as well as pavers surrounding the generic one that people have purchased to read their own individual proposal messages.
Definitely all along the riverwalk, but they actually have a parking website and app where you can find open parking spots because it is limited. I do not remember the name but check the city website. I immediately found a spot, paid for it, and it was reasonable.
