Depends where you are. The paved part of the riverwalk is bug free, but grassy areas are still subject to wildlife. Ive never needed bug spray at the Riverwalk.

Too late for me. Save yourself. Insect repellent is a very good idea.
We were there during the day, but since it's on the bay I'm sure there's some mosquitoes. Especially if you're fishing under the bridge.

The only bugs i dealt with were in the lighted areas but the walk itself was fairly bug free.
