This park is lovely and always has fun things going on. It’s a great spot for photoshoots as it offers unique backgrounds and lighting in certain spots (light reflecting off of walls and specific windows that can add edge light to give a studio lighting effect just by finding the right spot).

This is a beautiful riverside park that comes alive in the evening with spectacular lighted trees and interactive water features. This park walkway is nice and wide and has several places to sit and take in the scenery on the land and in the water. There are public restrooms as well as some restaurants along the way if you want a snack or drink.

They had Bark in the Park. Everyone brought their dogs for a fun day. Several vendors for dogs and food for us. The park is in the middle of town with a beautiful view of the river.

I really enjoy this park. I walk here on my lunch breaks while at work it along the river walk, hosts events throughout the year, a playground is adjacent. While a dog park is a short distance to the North. Plenty of eating options nearby with the Irish pub to the south and the museum cafe to the north. The children’s museum and the playful water fountains are nearby as well. Plenty of parking garages within walking distance.

There are 2 parking garages nearby. The Poe garage is $7 all day and the other with an entrance on Twiggs is $20. No restrictions on photography, though there may be restrictions if there is a large event. Otherwise have fun!
Yes, lots of walking. Bring a wheelchair or scooter
Yes a lot of different backgrounds of food all walking distance. Greek, Asian, Mediterranean, Italian, Small Diners, Pubs etc.. Depends On Your Mood. Agreed and the Eddy and Sams Best Pizza in the area and for Mexican Food Urban Cantina just a few blocks away. Both are well worth it. You can look up places to eat nearby and a ton will come up on your phone. I've eaten almost all and I haven had a bad experience and everything was yummy.
Yes it is open Sunday
Check with the city but I think non.
You can walk around for free
Yes
Yes but they dont run all day. They turn on around 3pm on weekdays.
There is always something going on every weekend
Yes
No fishing at Curtis Hixon Park also called the River Walk but very close by you can fish in the Hillsborough River across from the Publix grocery store that's downtown. Park car at Publix fish 🐟 🐠 then when ready for lunch and cold drink your a three min walk away to Publix.
Yes walk
No tickets required
There's a few pretty good places to set up. I don't know if you would need any type of license or anything.
Yes there's allot of seating for that but I suggest arriving extremely early to secure covered benches before the masses arrive. Enjoy!
Mr. Hixon is a pillar of the community. Anytime you see buildings, Bridges, streets. something named after someone. They are famous pillars of the community large money donors or something. You just have to Google it. I mean Google will tell you everything. Tampa is a very rich town in different cultures. It's a great place to live it's always something to do. it's never a dull moment here. I was just go on Google and just Google some of the things that your interested in are you have questions about. But I would definitely do that next time around before I get on here and start asking questions I would advise anybody Google what you have a question on first. and if you are still unsure. then come on here and ask us. happy learning
Probably, I've done so at other events there before with no issues.
Parking garage or Uber is prob best options
It's doubtful due to likelihood of smacking someone in the head.

Garage next to the park. There are a few street parking spots that tend to fill up quickly during an event.
You pay to enter the park, someone explain to me how it works.
