Update: They contacted me recently to solve my problems. They sent me the cart for recycle. And this week they pickup all three kinds of trash. So I see the change happening. I raised the star from 1 to 4. If they keep picking up on time as schedule, I will update then! Original: We just moved to our new house in Fremont. So we set up the service right away. They delivered two bins for yard and garbage, but we missed the bin for recycles. That's fine. We understand that they are in low stock of that blue bin. Then they promise they will pick up the trash next Monday and we can just leave the recycling trash in front of our house and they will pick up....You guess.. They only pick up garbage for the last 2 weeks!!! They didn't pick up yard or food waste, and recycling for sure. The recycling bin is still missing now. But why didn't collect yard trash???? It's been 2 weeks and they are smelly!!!!!

We had to dump our broken bed spring and computer monitor, we first visited the drop off at Dixon landing road and they charged us a whopping $80 + $35 in total. We suspected a foul play and drove to our usual, the drop off at alameda county. These people were awesome, they took the Monitor for free and also bed sping for free though their board showed us a fee.

Trash is never picked up on time. It's been 2 weeks since the trash is out and no one has picked it up (and this happens EVERY week for almost 2 months). The company charges hefty amounts for their service, but there is no service given in return. Customer service assures your trash will be picked up, but you end up spending 30 minutes every day of your daily work schedule, just talking with them but it's a futile effort. Trash will be outside your home the next day as well. I am now at a point where I am worried about pests and diseases. If you have a chance to go with another company, for your own mental peace - I would suggest please do it.

These folks have a Monopoly on the area and take advantage of that consistently. They have no one in the office to answer phones - so your call for "service" actually bounces around the country and you'll never hear from them again. In the last year alone - they have missed over 10 pick ups at my business and when I call to report or ask questions, it never gets resolved. Which is insane considering I am less than 2 miles from their operating office. So in short - you have to use them if you're in the area, but don't even expect the bare minimum because they truly do not care.

I think they have only one staff member at this. The wait was long in person. Have you tried emailing them? I got a response within 3 days.
I just pay it at office since phone seems to be a hassle
If you're a Fremont/Newark/Union City resident, you can bring it to our Fremont Division office at 42600 Boyce Road. There's a green bin (at the building, just in front of our handicapped parking spaces) for used residential cooking oil recycling use only. Thank you!
Call in to Customer Service to schedule a bulk pick up. They will send you information of what is acceptable and how much you can set out, depending on what city you live in.
Why driver not taking the used motor oil anymore?

Yes
Call Customer Service Monday- Friday to schedule a bulky pick up.
The size of a cart needed for each household depends on how much garbage and recycling is generated. Normal household is usually a 64 gallon trash and 64 gallon recycle. I would start with those sizes and monitor use for each. You can go on-line at Republic's website or contact customer service for pricing. I hope this has helped.
At some point you get a free service. Call the city and they can guide you through the process. I know there is a way. I work for republic
