I had a really great experience at this hospital. I felt like each person who helped me really made an effort to help me understand what was happening to me. Even the doctor took his time coming in to see me. Usually, doctors pass by for a few minutes and you don't see them again, but every person who communicated with me took their time with me. I felt humanized. Thank you to the doctors and nurses of this hospital.

If the waiting room is full, it might be a long wait. In spite of waiting 3 1/2 hours for a room last visit during a gallbladder attack, I love Bayfront. Their primary care, specialist offices, and ER staff treat their patients with respect and kindness, generally. I would not hesitate to take anyone in my family here for their health crises. In the last year I’ve been to the ER more than I have my entire adult life combined, and the staff at Bayfront truly make the worst situations a little better. Obviously they could benefit from more staff, but I’m pretty sure every hospital is in a similar position right now.

I had surgery just yesterday and had the best care at Bayfront. Everyone was so nice and attentive. I am very afraid of needles because I have bad veins but Nurse Rashanna was able to get the IV in on the first try without causing me pain. It was amazing! I love the nurses at Bayfront and my Doctor, Dr. Reyes.

I can’t say enough good things about this hospitals Trauma/ICU surgeons, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and therapists!!! You have all been amazing!! I was informed every step of the way throughout almost 3 weeks during my sons stay. The team approach to rounds was informative and kept everyone on the same page at all times. They gave me hope just watching them day by day. I couldn’t have asked for better medical care ANYWHERE!!! Thank you all for providing what I consider to be world class medical care and giving my son back to me!!! This community is truly blessed to have you all!!!

I have the same question. It is so crazy here now since Orlando Health bought this place! It was bad before but it's way worse and I use a Bayfront Primary Care Service and no insurance companies have their credentialing! Not one that I've called and when they had me call them they don't know what they're doing there either! This is the worst hospital I have been in in the United States of America!
Emergency room at Northside hospital they will give you a new one also
You need to go to admitting on the East side of the hospital. You can park for free in the East garage, then cross the street at the crosswalk. Admitting is at the top of the stairs when you enter the hospital. There is also an elevator if you can't do stairs.

Yes, according to U.S. Federal law. You can bring your service animal into any of the non-sterile areas in the hospital.

No. That would be a violation of patient health laws.
First you have to go to an Orthopedics Dr, I recommend All Florida Orthopedics on 4th St in St.Pete, that will be the only way to be admitted an/ or have a surgery, your Dr in Mo. Can send your file to your new Dr. In Fla you have to go through a chain before anything can happen, after you see an Ortho they can help with pain management until a decision can be made, I do hope this helps and I wish you the best of luck an a speedy recovery. I do not work for hospital, have only been a patient, but I know the system, I was born an raised here, so honestly I hope I helped.
