Pretty okay facility, horrible business. I cannot stress this enough; DO NOT get a membership here. As you can see in various other reviews, the contracts are completely absurd and they WILL cheat you in some way, shape, or form. My experience: I signed up for this gym when I was a college student because it was nearby and seemed relatively cheap. I signed on as a referral with my friend (who had been a member for several years) and was promised two free months, as well as a student discount. However, I was charged far more than I was told and never received a single free month. I didn’t really think much of it, because I knew I would be moving soon so I was planning to cancel anyways. However, upon trying to cancel, I was informed that I could not end my membership (even after I said I would pay the cancellation fee) while in contract because there was a gym “close to me” (the nearest one is more than 25 miles away in a completely different county and is a 30-40 minute drive — I understand that this was definitely in the contract, but the staff member who sat down with me led me to believe things were far different (he said it would only be $22/month after my discount & free months, told me I could cancel if I moved, etc.)) Granted, I should have fully read the contract, but of course, their staff is GREAT at pulling all the stops to distract and convince. Yet, I then told the staff member that I didn’t even have transportation to this location so there was no possible way I could utilize the membership and that I was recently in a car accident (hence the lack of transportation) and couldn’t even lift or workout anyways (based on doctor orders). She said she would cancel the account based on extraneous issues and I went on about my business. Fast forward, they sent me to collections! Now, as a young adult, my credit score dropped significantly and I’m now being hunted down for $300 that I simply do not have. I take full blame for my lack of reading the contract, but I do not take blame for being lied to and deceived by a money-hungry company. If you are in Westerville, go to the Community Rec. Much cheaper, no contracts/cancellation hoops to jump through, and the staff is amazing (at least when I went).

I have been an anytime fitness member for close to 2 years. I love the chain. I moved to the Columbus area this past year and this is the closest anytime fitness to me. I like this location but I was sad this location doesn’t have a ROGUE SAFETY SQUAT BAR like almost every single other location. I have back condition and it is much safer for me to squat using this type of barbell. I wish they would purchase one for this location. This is location is clean and overall pretty good.

The worst gym I have ever joined. READ ALL OF THE FINE PRINT IN THE CONTRACT. Including the part where you can freeze the account due to medical issues (Unexpected) for 30-90 days. I had to put my account on freeze temporarily, thinking I will be fine after 3 months. Well, I wasn’t. Sitting all day at work will do that to you. So I contacted the office and spoke with the general manager. She informed me that I needed a note from my doctor. Canceling the account due to medical issues requires a note from the doctor stating that i can no longer workout indefinitely. Yes, I said indefinitely. My doctor was shocked and refused to write the letter. She can’t predict the future. I then asked the GM how much would it be to close the account completely? I figured a couple hundreds dollars wasn’t worth thousands of dollars in surgery later. I was told my balance to close the account was $490.26. They pretend to help you freeze the account and only pay $2.50 per month until the account has been unfrozen. They then add those month to the end of the contract like a car loan company would do. These people don’t care about the members. They only care about money. I was also told the monthly membership would only be $24.71. It’s not. It’s $50.00 plus. The young man who signed me up walked out the following week.

Great place to work out for those serious about their fitness. Lots of equipment to choose from both universal and free weights. No business hours to worry about. They're open 24/7 so it works around your schedule. They give you a magnetic key fob that you swipe at the door to get in. Price is a bit higher than other places but at around $30.00 a month it's worth it for what you get. They also have individual restrooms and showers. I think it's worth while to have your privacy and not have to worry about meat gazers staring at your shaft while showering or getting dressed. Just saying......
