I have had an account with this Credit Union for over 7 years. Currently I am traveling internationally and despite letting them know I am traveling they have shut down my card 5 times and left me stranded. They did this to me while I was traveling to Atlanta a few years ago and shut down my card twice last year while I was living in Washington. It is a part time job just to call them and have it reactivated and they are always condescending about it. If you want a debit card that will work reliably then look elsewhere for your banking needs. EDIT: I called 2 weeks prior to my travels and put a notice in on my online account and this still happened. This was also the case in Atlanta.

As a new customer, I have loved getting to know the staff at the culver city office, everyone always greets me with a friendly smile and it feels more warm and welcoming than other big bank experiences. I’d personally like to thank the Culver City Branch Manager, Rolando Morales. He's an outstanding example of what high-level customer service should look like. Rolando was able to turn my nightmare of a situation around and make sure that everything was completely taken care of and he even followed up with me days afterwards in case I had any further questions. Rolando and Joseph made sure the entire vehicle loan process was as easy and hassle-free as possible. He also answered the *many* questions I had with professionalism and kindness, and trust me there were a lot of questions because I've never taken out a car loan before. I don't do many Google reviews but I wanted people to know that this place is way better than some of these reviews on here. I highly recommend checking out LAFCU for all your banking needs – you won’t be disappointed

They've rolled back some services recently like debiting accounts when the withdrawal is made rather than when it's posted, and linking to outside financial services. The new budgeting tool is cumbersome. But the core service is still more personal and laid back than the Big Banks, and LAFCU is probably not mixed up in the moral mess of international banking.

Worst customer service don’t ever come here !! I wouldn’t even give them a star! Wasted 5 hours for nothing! Looking to refinance my auto loan and I was actually recommended to this credit union Joseph was the representative who has been working there for more than 5 years gave me the DMV paperwork to take to my mother that has a business to run. I go get signatures then when I get back they say that my mother still has to come in because the signature in her drivers license looks different! Then I get the chance to speak the so called BRANCH MANAGER and he says that they were not suppose to let me walk out with the paperwork to get signatures how is it possible that an employee who has been working there for more than 5 years doesn’t know the regulations of his own work place and as a manager don’t know what your empowers are doing worst experience EVER! If looking for a credit union don’t come here go somewhere else!
