Peaceful park with plenty of space. Many people were out relaxing on the lawn, playing sports and hanging out with their dogs. Could be cleaner but good park overall.

Unfortunately, no. In all parks in SF, dogs must be on a leash except in designated play areas, and there are no play areas in panhandle park. Quite a few people do it anyway though. I have not seen the rule enforced yet.
