So far, I am really impressed with the facility, her room, the dining area and quality of food, and the staff I’ve met so far are all super nice and amazing people who actually care about their residents!!! MY mother lived at the Atria in Camarillo for 10 years. She moved out in August 2019. The cost over the 10 years was close to a million dollars. The staff was great and always made my mother and our family feel at home. The problem was the management. They treated my mother like a second class citizen. I am her daughter and living out of state, I visited several times per year. I started questioning other residents about their rent charged and I found out they gave deals to people they wanted to stay. They ultimately put my mother in a basement unit with little light in order to try to get her rent down a bit. She was paying close to 10K per month. We complained to all levels of management up to corporate but it was never resoled. They took advantage of my mother and our family. Ask questions about the rent, not only with management but other residents. Buyer beware!

Three years ago my mother, Barbara Burns, was hesitant to move to any assisted living facility. After visits to many of the options in the Camarillo area, we decided on a trial stay for a month at Atria Las Posas. After one week there Mom decided to stay in her room. Day by day she has grown to love it there as much as she did her big house on the hill. What she really loves are the people at Atria. Residents, Housekeeping, Red Shirt Caregivers, Kitchen and Dinning, Transportation, everyone is so loving. My family and I are her only direct relative and we all live halfway across the country and depend on Atria the keep us informed. We stay in touch with Mom by phone, but are so very grateful for the careful attention that everyone at Atria gives to my mother. My whole family was recently able to coordinate schedules so that we could all be together with "Gammy" at Atria Las Posas. Jean at the front desk helped set up a lunch and Carlo in Dinning Services gave us special attention. It is clear to me that Jane Germaine has added another level of loving care to the community. Big hugs and smiles for everyone. Thanks a million!
