Moved in last March and moved out in April this year and let me tell you.., on my way out I burst out crying this has been such a terrible place to live in the state. I wish I would have truly read these horrible reviews and ran away. 1) the day I was given my keys I went for a quick walk through kitchen was still dirty, toilet had pee, a shelf was broken. 2) once I moved in the dryer had to be done 3 times to dry clothes in my entire time living here the part they needed was “on its way” and I moved out never arrived 3) moved in with a fireplace but it wasn’t fixed until January of this year 4) in August one of the hottest months my family and I were left without AC I told them the first night they provided 1 ac unit I complained so much they gave me a 2nd one on that 2nd night they hadn’t installed the ac correctly it made it worse it took 6-7 days for a contractor to come out 5) the office staff was always dismiss and rude 6)mold in my sink and ceiling their maintenance will never admit there’s a problem 7) my car rental got towed because of a parking permit they were supposed to leave in my mail and never did 8) a month before I move out my mom is helping deliver things to my office in my car (2020 suv) with my keys and property manager harassed my mother an older Mexican woman if she lived there and blocked her path wouldn’t let her through at all and then when I brought it up to her and regional manager they said my mother exaggerated 9) it’s so dirty constantly 10) neighbors do not have common courtesy 11) please don’t move in there are so many better apartments in the area. There is absolutely no luxury in these “luxury apartments”

Don’t move here!!! Do your self a favor DON’T MOVE HERE!!!! I have lived here for 9 months, since the first time the move in process was too much then went as further as asking for my employee number and asked me to provide all kinds of documents you can imagine and the first day while moving our stuff in the downstairs neighbor came and told us to keep it down on a broad day light, the floor is very sensitive and you have to fly to leave here if you walk the downstairs person will complain and the management will not provide any solution, we were abused for 9 months for walking in our own unit.The building is so dirty and has never been cleaned, if you take the stairs you may end up thinking that is where the trash goes, the only place that gets cleaned is the leasing office. The garage door is always broken and non residents park(they will not be responsible for any damage on your car) and there are several people that sleeps in their car.Maintenance is terrible and it is better to just fix it your self, if you tell them something is broken they are going to end up telling you there is nothing wrong it. All the amenities are closed even when if you pay. You will not get your deposit back.

Do not move here!!!! Washer and dryer broke, Haven’t washed clothes in 4 months & it’s still not fixed. Ashley love talking about BUSY meetings, or pressing people over rent (ALWAYS PAID) but failed to check if maintenance ordered the parts that they needed for the washing machine. *I was washing clothes and the machine stopped on me. I had to ring out & dry all the wet clothes that were inside the washer (BLEACHED).🗣 Maintenance came to look at it (promising) to order the parts needed to fix, 2 months later maintenance comes back to check the machine again & to see what parts were needed because they (FORGOT) he never really wrote it down 🙄🌚 Anyway I watched that water turn from clear & soapy to brown July - November 2021 Laundry room smells like eggs now , Had to keep the lid shut and door closed I’m so embarrassed to even have company Living here has made me very depressed you can hear the water in the pipes running through the wall all day and night. People walk their dogs and never clean up after them, they try to act as if my dog is the only one out there. You can hear the squeaky gate in the garage, car was broken into the very first month I moved in. Garage door always broken and I’m not interested in speaking with management. When COVID-19 hit our garbage disposal didn’t work and nobody came for us because we weren’t top priority. 3 years ago I just moved in and a drunk driver jumped the curb & knocked down a light pole in front of my door and they still haven’t fixed the wires hanging out of ground. I refuse to let my daughter play out front after that. If you like hearing police sirens 🚨 & helicopters looking for criminals then this is the place for you ❤️🥰

I lived at Flats at Wheaton for about a little less than two years. Overall we had a decent experience. Upstairs neighbors were annoying and loud, leasing office was okay for the most part, Ashley was challenging at times. The garage is partly outside. In the winter it can be annoying if you don't live close to the garage. My biggest complaint is the Fire Alarms. We read of the issue in the reviews before we moved in and assumed it wasn't that bad. BUT IT IS. It can happen any point of the day. My favorite was the 2-5am shift. Or the middle of day when most of us are working from home. Little explanation has been given and the issue has been on going for years. We also experienced a severe mouse infestation. Only our direct neighbor had the issue as well. Not the whole hallway. I believe it was due to maintenance fixing something related to the dryer and left a hole. We caught 18 mice over a three month time frame. There was no organization between the exterminator (only comes once a week), maintenance who didn't really want to help and the leasing office who jokingly told us to just get a cat. We were stuck trying to figure out where they were coming in from, Exterminator and Maintenance had "checked" behind the dryer multiple times but never saw the hole. My roommates and I still have PTSD from the whole experience, with that many mice and we caught ALL of them ourselves. Luckily they did let us break our lease without penalty. I don't believe the mouse issue is something that is rampant. I probably would have stayed longer if it hadn't happened but than again those Fire Alarms were awfulllll !!!
