I stayed there about four years ago. It's a hostel. Clean enough and cheap enough. Met some cool people from all over the world. Free breakfast! One day some terrible family took most of the food, they went and immediately got us more. Pizza downstairs is ok and not expensive. You're in LA, really should only be using this place to sleep in. Beats the hell out of NYC

If I could rate this place no stars I would, don’t waste your money. I’m adventurous but this place can be very risky. It’s right in the middle of the hustle of everything and insecure at time. Let me tell you about my experience, as I sat at 7 am by the office for it to open. A strange person walks up me being friendly greeting him. He begin cursing me out about having not pay my room bill. Which was the whole reason per front desk staff I was waiting there at 7 am. After finding the employer and he looked at the floor the whole time as he explained. Yes, that’s why he’s here because I told him to meet me here at 7am. He was even more upset then calling the police on me stating I refused to settle my debt. I stayed at the W I wanted to try something more local to meet more locals. I have a Coach luggage collection by no means was I trying to stiff anyone out of 40 dollars. Which if you walk in their rates never change and they always cheaper than advertised. Now, for my riskier person who can put up unprofessional, here’s what the inside looks like not the airbrushed photos. It’s tight, nasty and not clean I literally was happy to leave. The beds was thin and uncomfortable. You must provide everything even towel and sheets. I really decided to write this post to inform the public that after visiting this place, I received bed bugs.

This is a hostel. Not a hotel, but they insist that you leave a deposit anyway, which they are anxious to take away.The place is filthy and smells like hell. They use blankets as curtains. Terrible bedding. People were doing cocaine in the living room in front of the cameras, but for some reason I was not allowed to do my makeup in the kitchen! The manager, Richard, was an absolute creep and tried to take advantage of me when I was drunk. He asked if I wanted to watch TV in his room. I went with him to his disgusting room and he kept insisting that I should "cuddle" with him. Gross! I didn't and he was rude to me from that point on. He treats his staff like slaves and is constantly yelling at them, which you can hear from any room in the building. The staff are really nice, but I will never go back to this place again. The lady in my room was doing drugs in the bathroom for three hours and talking to herself. The manager did not care to listen when my roommate and I decided to complain about it. Also, our room got broken into by some dude in the middle of the night. Stay away from this place!
