Feel Unsafe. I stayed for 3 nights. The first two nights for me were okay but I got an incident on the last night. I came back and found that there was someone on my bed! I asked the front desk and I found that housekeepers took my stuffs away from my bed (dumped them in a trash bag and sent to the front desk). I did not understand why housekeepers can get rid of the customer stuff without permission, feeling very unsafe. If you want to stay at this hotel, I warn you that you must not left any valuable stuffs on a bed. Eventually, I had to change my bed (I was very unsure that a new bed was properly cleaned and there were leftovers from a previous occupant. Front desk offered a little help and did not try to understand my question, problem and explanation, possibly because I am an Asian. I also could not seek good answers from the front desk. Moreover, in the morning, I reported my case to the front desk and hoped that he will send my message to housekeepers. However, he was totally horrible, unhelpful and not even listened to my case or even show condolence to me. It was very very bad experience.

Good location near the filthy Red Line train and a nice common area over-looking Hollywood Boulevard, but for $50-80/n for a dorm room represented poor value. Very basic rooms and bathrooms. No private change area, and very noisy. The official “quiet time” of 12-7am isn’t enforced. I slept very poorly here.

2 stars for a 2-star hostel. I stayed for 12 days, here's my experience -nightly assaults from bed bugs, changing sheets did not help -the bathrooms are cleaned once a day in the morning, but the way people use them - there should be 2 cleanings a day. People are gross -the shower doors are near see-through -the free wifi is sufficient -free breakfast from 6-9 (bagels, coffee, oatmeal) -loud parties in the common area at the end of the week, quiet hours are 12-7am so expect people to be loud until midnight

If you are coming to Hollywood, do yourself a favour and stay here. My wife and I stayed here in a private room. First off, the location is awesome! Right in the middle of everything you want to see and right next to a big, secure parking area. The check in was quick and easy. The people on the front desk were easy to talk to, light hearted and made us feel very welcomed. We looked around the hostel before going to our room and it was open, clean and just really good vibes. The people were friendly and fun, this was nice after such a long time travelling. We then went into our room and were surprised at how big it was. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, it had an air conditioner and a bar fridge. It was way better than I expected! The bathrooms were very clean too (which is always a bonus at a hostel lol). This has to be the best hostel I have stayed in. Overall our stay was incredible and for a great price. Both my wife and I highly recommend staying here.
