I am writing to share my excruciating poor experience with this company. I had called this company to confirm that they had 100 turkeys needed for an event that we were hosting. In communicating over several different people, I was given 2 quotes. Upon receipt of the quotes, I asked if they could confirm whether they had 100 of various size turkeys at which we would pay $1.65lb. I was told that they would confirm (because James wasn't sure if they had 16-18lb turkeys or other sized turkeys at the time) that they had the inventory to fill the order. I received a text letting me know that they would confirm. After not hearing from James at B&R for a day, I texted back on a hunch that they may have forgotten about the order on Wednesday. I received a call shortly after informing me not only do they not have the order, they have already slotted ALL ITEMS to other people. Mind you, I have a text message from James saying that he will confirm whether they had the inventory of turkeys so that I could pay over the phone. On this call, I found out that not only did they have the turkeys on Monday and I could have paid for the inventory then, they had people overseeing these orders that do not understand what it means to follow up. He may have been the manager that called, but no kind of apologetic bone that they fell out of communication of which a customer was waiting on. It's one thing to be completely wrong and apologize as a manager. But to ask why I didn't pay for a quote even though I didn't know whether they had the inventory? These folks are a joke. I highly recommend that you not use this company. While I'm dismayed that they couldn't hold up their end of customer service, it may have been a blessing because I can only imagine what other sort of poor experience I may have had with pick up. I cringe at the thought that people do business like this, but I highly recommend that you find another vendor for your events and business. If you want shady, unreliable, arrogant service that does not respect the customer, this is your place.
