Place looks like an over simplified mansion. Big but almost disturbingly simple. Also its oddly placed in the middle of ghettoish middle class neighborhood I saw there were openings online on multiple sites, but I also read a lot of reviews where they dont respect reservations nor do they give refunds. So I went to check it out first since I was already in town. When I approached, before I even stepped foot on the side walk, a woman screeched from a window screaming "can I help you?" After telling her I was looking for a vacant bed, she yelled "no vacancies" and the scuffle of a conversation was over. Whole thing was kind of weird. Very odd behavior. Very odd they have so many cases of booking discrepancies and no people waiting for refunds Ended up just sleeping/showering at a 24hour spa for 20$

Ells Eastwood

Great place to stay if you're going to the stadium, we will definitely be back. Had a great experience, we even met Mr. Anderson himself! We slept in the 10 bed room and everyone was quiet and respectful considering we we're all in L.A. for separate rock concerts. We got to use the pool late at night, breakfast was decent and they let us sleep past the stated check out time. Mansion Kitty.

Huge fan! Stayed here twice already for about a week each and will be coming back two more times before my project is done. There is a hostel cat roaming the property so if you like cats, pick her up a treat bag and you won’t be sorry! Laundry is free, I was able to find parking within yards of the property. WiFi can be spotty. Best in guest house. Towels are amazing. I was moved a couple times but they apologized and put me in a room with one other person. Kitchen is great. People are friendly. Got free food twice here for dinner! I’ve already recommended this hostel to my friends who are visiting LA over the summer. Very home feel to it. No lockers, doors are open 24/7 but after 2 weeks of being there, I just learned to have locked luggage and take valuables with me. Never had a problem with security.

The Anderson Estates is a great place to stay. They have some really nice and friendly people working there and the free breakfast is great! I accidentally put my hand through a window whilst I was there and they were so kind and understanding about it and even brought out a first aid kit to fix up my scratches. They also managed to fix and replace the window within a few hours! Their facilities are great and the rooms are well maintained and clean. Towels and extra blankets are provided on request. I thoroughly recommend this place! Thankyou for having us.
