This is a wonderful hiking/trail running/jogging spot. It has all kinds of elevations from easy to difficult. Me and my friend would usually start with a gradual elevation then do the almost 45 degree elevation hike to work the heart. My favorite hidden hiking spot

Beautiful hiking trail. If you are a big bird watcher, this is the place. You get to see different species of birds and you also see beautiful views of downtown Los Angeles.

Quite a hike up and down the trails. Stop by the Audubon center for some education. There is an amazing blacksmith show there once a year in February.

This is a very city style park but with hike. Kinda like a 2 and 1 package. The hiking trail is not hard but can quickly give you some good workout because it has good amount of up hill and has good city view. This park is great for dog but not for biker. Parking is not bad if you come early and is close to many resident city.

Hike up the trail straight through the parking lot through the inside of the gates. The trail goes up steeply quickly. At the top there is a bit shaded section, there you find the huge pond all under the shade with a few turtles around.
