Nice park! Bathrooms were clean. The playground was fun. There is a tennis court and many benches.

Great family park, we rent the indoor for our children’s birthdays and other events. Basketball courts always available for a quick pick up game, next door we have a target, ross, publix. Convenient.👍🏽

After visiting a few parks in Miami, I am starting to fill in my gaps in Latin American History. Today I learned about this parks namesake, Rubén Darío 1867-1916). Dario was an influential Nicaraguan poet, journalist, and diplomat. He started publishing poems when he was only 14. He is most well known as a leader of the Spanish American literary movement known as Modernismo, which reached its height at the the end of the 19th century. Dario's first major literary work was Azul ("Blue"), a collection of short stories, descriptive sketches, and verse. In 1886 he left Nicaragua and then traveled the world. In 1893 he was appointed as Colombian consul in Buenos Aires. While working as a correspondent for the Buenos Aires newspaper La Nación in 1898 in Europe, he became concerned with the future of Spanish America after the collapse of Spain's empire in the New World. In response he wrote what is considered to be his masterpiece, Cantos de vida y esperanza (1905; "Songs of Life and Hope"). In 1914 at the brink of WWI, Dario left for New York where he contracted pneumonia. He passed away shortly after returning home to Nicaragua. Today Darío is considered by many to be one of the greatest poets who ever wrote in Spanish. On September 15, 1992, Miami-Dade County Parks dedicated a park in Rubén Darío's honor. As you pull into the park you can see a large statue of Rubén Darío that was added to the park in 1993. The statue is flanked by benches and the Nicaraguan and the United States flags. In the back of the park is a community center that offers after school programs for children and camps. Other park amenities include a baseball field, basketball courts, picnic shelter/pavilion, playground, racquetball court, lighted soccer field, and tennis court. You would mainly come to this park if you were taking the kids to play, participating in a sport, or one of the programs at the community center. If you are looking for a place to walk and enjoy nature, I recommend the Women's Park about a half mile down the road. It was interesting to learn about Rubén Darío, an important Spanish literary hero.

Good place. Lots of lights and they stay on pretty late. Soccer field is huge, walking track is a 1/4 mile long, kids playground area, baseball field, like 8 basketball courts. I've only seen one bbw grill area, parking lot isn't that big. It's a good park though.

Yes, the park is well kept and it's nice especially for walking or jogging and of course tennis!
Not really, not a big park, not paved areas, just a little road. It's mostly grass
In the park there is ball play on Sundays.
I would guess you'd have to, same as the different pavilions and baseball areas.
Entrance to Rubén Darío's park is free
In Rubén Darío Park the Juventus Miami academy trains soccer, if you want you can come from Monday to Thursday from 6:00 pm and look for information with one of the coaches.
