I lived on this property for 3 years: 2018 - 2022. In the beginning, the staff and management were super accommodating and helpful but over the past 1.5 years, security and good customer service dropped dramatically! My car was broken in to ON.MY.BIRTHDAY (in a gated apartment garage), my neighbor's house was raided by the Feds (imagine waking up to a 6 am raid) and several of my packages were stolen. When reported to management, they weren't able to offer one solution, not one, except maybe an apology. I requested to leave but instead, I was sent a list of penalties I would have to pay for "breaking" the lease. I guess that's "fair", it's California, and such is life, so I kept paying rent for over 6 mos on an apartment I barely stayed in. I am now happily living somewhere else; hope this helps anyone trying to make a decision

Everything good until this happened. I knew leasing office doesn't recommend us leave personal stuff in parking lot. Also its not allowed to put in the balcony. Those are camping staff in the box, total value maybe even less than one month of extra storage fee. FYI, my car is parking in P2, so must be resident did. I find out my skateboard and sleeping bag is missing when I back from work today, I don't really care, but be aware who you are living with. I guess never forget lock your door if you live here, who knows if something else may happen on you.

My husband and I have lived here together for several months (and he lived here for about a year prior to that), and we love it! The units and communal spaces are very pretty, the pricing is reasonable considering the quality and location, the amenities are great, and, most of all, the staff here are fantastic! They have been incredibly accommodating and helpful, and work very quickly to respond to our needs, no matter what they are. It's so nice to have a team of people who are so on top of things! They're also so friendly- it's really nice to see them and say hello. I highly recommend living here!

Hi everyone! I have had the pleasure of living at Avana on Wilshire for the past three years. However, I only got to fully enjoy it this past year as Esther came in to be the manager on the property. She came and completely changed this place around. Everyone seemed to have always been in a grouchy mood / the previous manager didn't care about the people living here - only cared that it looked good. Let me tell ya, Esther CARES about both! I am moving to South Korea due to work and I honestly wish I could just bring Esther with me. She's always smiling, always on top of something, always figuring something out, and how does she always dress so well?! Esther really shined, especially during covid, as she made sure her residents were happy. I mean...she's been hosting these art days, gift cards, virtual work out classes..and she's always been there to chat with...Sometimes I forget that time passes so quickly when talking with her. She truly became a part of the residential community in Avana. Avana truly has such a special place in my heart because os Esther. Thankful for the amazing memories and can't wait to come back and visit!

Yes, we have gated parking. There is 1 parking space with a studio and one bedroom and 2 parking spaces with a two bedroom.
Yes we do! Our fitness center is always available to residents.
Yes we have! Also there is Rooftop Sun Deck and Spa.
