Not the greatest experience here. First I checked online when I pulled into Fargo and saw they had 3 King Bedrooms available for a good price for their rewards members. I went in to ask the front desk if a king room was still available and if I could get the rewards member rate. They told me yes to both and they took my information, however a few minutes later they said they didn’t have anymore king rooms. I looked online again and it said 2 Kings were still available, which I informed him and he then took a few more minutes to take those off the website before checking me in to a double bed room. The next thing that happened was having housekeeping knock on my door at 8:30am, I understand if I was a guest staying multiple days so they could clean the room but I only stayed one night so there is absolutely no reason to be waking up your guests and trying to come in at 8:30am (multiple hours before checkout) when they are leaving that day. Lastly, I never got the member rate that the front desk said they would do. It wasn’t a big difference in price but it’s the principle of the matter to why that didn’t sit well with me. Overall they have some stuff to work on.

I stayed here when I was in Fargo this past weekend. Very nice hotel. Staff was more than friendly, pool/hot tub was very nice & the rooms were clean & large. I recommend staying here.

Disappointed and dissatisfied by the front desk whom I asked a few questions. Patricia's attitude changed my mind and I will never be staying at this location. I was tired and forgot my ID so I couldn't get a room but there was no need to treat me like a 4th class person once she realized I wasn't able to get a room. She looked smugly satisfied as I left the building. That last look decided it, I will never stay there. Edit: Thank you Patrick for the quick response. I can understand how fraud could be an issue but she wouldn't answer my simple question. I was asking for future reference so that I could simply avoid her presence (as I was advise by my friend, Amanda) just to avoid her all together. The question was "Can I register online and use my card for payment?" She wouldn't answer, only kept stating that an ID was required to check in. Amanda said the hotel was one of the best she stayed in in her initial praise report and recommended it; its the reason I decided to check out the pool, spa and breakfast area. If it wasn't for Amanda, I wouldn't even have walked into Wingate. I have since changed my mind (Amanda really loves your hotel) and might stay there next time I am in town but will be using the online registration as it offers a 10% discount and I only need to show my ID upon check in and if I'm lucky, won't run into Patricia. Or if I do, I hope she has better customer service training so she can spot someone who actually is attempting fraud. I just wanted a shower, good nights rest and some breakfast. I won't forget my ID. Thank you.

The rooms were clean and quiet. Check-in wasn't as smooth as I would have preferred. Important Note: For travelers and people who are moving. There is parking for trailers and big box movers and is a very safe location.

I believe you are able to have your service pet there. I also thought pets were allowed but didn't have my dog with me.
