Probably one of my favorite views of the Golden Gate Bridge! You can see the bridge up close in all its glory with the beautiful city of San Francisco in the background. The area is also an old abandoned military base, and you can see some of the old barracks as well. It’s a gorgeous view at all times of the day, but is particularly pretty right before sunset.

Best place to see the Golden Gate Bridge and parking was surprisingly not too bad. Plenty of other turn off areas on the same road to get different angles.

For the best pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge you must take your guests here! I have been going for every guest visit and the best times will be during weekdays. If you are going on weekends make sure to start looking for parking from the second parking spot and walk down to view point.

I think this is one of the best spots to view the Golden Gate bridge. Amazing view of the bridge, Alcatraz island etc. Do make sure to check the weather before visiting. If it's sunny or clear, you are in for a treat. If you are going on a weekend, finding a parking spot can be an issue, but is manageable.

Battery Spencer is open during covid and it's open 24/7.
Yep that makes sense. I used near Safeway/Porsche parking lot coz there is no Walmart around. Thanks a lot sir!
There's a parking lot near it although I don't know how people access it. I parked closer to the base, and that parking lot was free.

You walk up to it from the parking area, a distance of about a quarter mile.
Or park in the lot and walk up the trail. No cost
Muni 76X runs pass there on Saturday and Sunday only from downtown. Hourly service in the morning, 90 minutes service in the afternoon.
