Such a great place to allow your pup to run around, socialise, exercise & have fun. The water fountains & hose are great too. The City workers seem to do a good job of emptying the dog waste trash cans & replenishing the plastic bags, but I really wish some dog owners would do a better job of cleaning up after their pups.

One of my favorite places to take my pup. I like the open field so I can see her at all time. The agility course is a nice perk.

Compared to dog parks at Shawnee Mission Park and Heritage Park a little on the smallish side. Nice setting though, solid fence, double gated entry (like a lock), and a corner with agility equipment. Impressed by the wash station for muddy paws. That would be nice to have at every dog park. I would put Leawoof on par with Stoll Park. Not sure if the set aside area for small dogs is used much, seemed like the owners with small dogs still came into the main area.

It is a nice park because you can see the full extent of the dog park and can't lose you dog there. There is a place with some obstacles in the large dog park. There are some trees for shades. It's a nice dog park for sure.

I believe 5 feet is a stretch, more like 4+ on both sides, large/small. It's kiln-dried wooden fence with multiple gates for maintaining the park. I'm over 6 foot, the fence comes up around my elbows, 5 feet would be around neck high. Enjoy!
Yes. I believe the small dog area is for less than 25 lbs
It is open until sunset. Located in the very back of the park across the walking bridge
you can see your dog from everywhere in the park
Sometimes it rains outside. When it dries, there won't be mud anymore. Happy to help.
5 acres for large dogs and an additional one acre reserved for small dogs
No it is not. All though people do take their dogs there so they can take a swim. It is not far from the fenced in dog park
Other dogs will certainly approach your dog and it is a recipe for doggie disaster. Please don't bring an aggressive dog.
Just go south on Lee from 95th and you will come to a T with a stop sign and go L, keep driving to the end.
