They gave a student discount $20 instead of $25. Really loved the rose garden. I took so many gorgeous photos. I loved the pool and getting to tour the estate inside and out. Would go back for an event. The Apple trees were a fun treat. It was 90 degree in July…

The garden is filled with lush plants and beautiful flowers. There's an art show and live music on the weekend I went. It made the garden somewhat crowded, but still would recommend. No food inside the garden. There are table and chair for picnic in the outside parking area, but they are nowhere as nice as inside the garden.(see my pic) Must purchase tickets in advance on a crowded day.

Incredible house but more impressive is the garden that is truly a wonderful place to experience. It is huge. It took us about an hour and a half to walk through the whole property in the garden. Just when you think you've seen everything, there is more. It's a great place for families and people of all ages. It does spark a sense of exploration and wonder. In addition to that, the history is pretty spectacular. The food and drinks are pretty expensive on the property but it's not amazing food you miss out on if don't have it. I'd recommend just eat before you arrive and have a great day. Lastly, I noticed two people on my trip dip their feet in the water. Please don't. This is not your house. Don't be that person. 🙃

We visited for the Christmas event.Beautiful historic house. The gardens are amazing. I hope to visit back in Spring when the flowers are blooming. The event was well set up and flow of traffic through each room was easy. Decorations were astounding throughout. We felt safe with the mask mandate. All staff and attendees were compliant. Very excited that they had a Black Santa.

Are there wheelchairs available for use at Filoli?
I'm not familiar with that. Try phoning them and asking them. I'm a former volunteer also.
Of course you're allowed, gotta pay to enter anyway, matter as well make it worth. I make lots of photo shoots when I go.
Yes, about $25 for adults
He left at least two years ago. They held a Memorial service in his honor. He arrived on his own and left the same way. Wild and free. One hopes he found mate at last and decided to stay with her.
There's a sign that says no outside alcohol allowed
Can't you use your senior tickets on a later time. I'm sure if your wife is a senior. There shouldn't be a problem. .
Yes, they will water everything. With warmer weather, however, I have been planning to go a week or two earlier than the published bloom schedule. Currently daffodils, camelias, and paperwhites in containers are blooming.
Open but I believe for drinks only, we got mulled wine
Yes, inside the home and gift shop.. We took them off when we were outside in the gardens.
I'm not sure. They might have more info on their website. Since COVID, lots of these issues (like money matters) are welcomed but being handled virtually online for less contacts (for reducing transmissions).
Go early. Great suggestion about alternating with the gardens. I think they're better fun. More to explore. Plus, safer, fresh air.
"Fight for a just cause; Love your fellow man; Live a good life.”
There is no answer for that yet. It is at Filolis discretion
Sorry I don't know. I was a visitor just like you.
Need to make a reservation these days and buy tickets in advance. I'd call ahead about these wrist bands so you don't end up disappointed.

I believe that is covered.
When I went couple of years back, they charged $20 entrance fee. I think that should be the case now as well.

Yes you can is picnic tables there and trash cans
Not much or I would not go there for redwood.

Yes on the fee part. . They don't allow commercial photos without permission. And your situation would also probably require permission. Probably best to call and ask. .
Now is a great time. They are beautiful and many varieties
And, Hyacinths. Visit the Daffodil meadow! Two weeks ago, it was a little early. The rain and cold were hard on the magnolia trees. Camillas were really pretty, too!
Yes, the original owner William Bowers bourn II died at the home.
I honestly don't know. I don't see dead people.
Some wisteria is blooming. We always have flowers in pots.
Yes, call them and reserve the space and ask for assistance as the people there are professional and efficient.
Daffodils were starting, and narcissus, and paperwhites are out. I was just there on the 31jan. I also thought i saw crocus in bud. It should all be very soon.
I would call they told me end of Feb the daffodils are in bloom now

The aerial view of the Carrington mansion gardens at the beginning of each Dynasty show were shot at Filoli.
