It had been a very long time since we had been to Texas Tom's. I remember going to the one in North Kansas City in the 80's with my mom in summer. Ok, getting back on track. The food didn't disappoint I had the Italian steak SO GOOD!!! The fries were amazing, hot, fresh, crispy, not too salty perfect! The staff was friendly, the store very clean. We can't wait to go back again.

Food was great!! Never been before. Potatoes tasted home made. I am from Iowa and know my corn and the corn on the cob tasted like it just came out of a garden and cooked to perfection!! Biscuit was nice and soft!! Only thing is husband says fish was a little soft and should be cooked just a little longer but said it was good!! I would highly recommend this place!!

Out and about running some late night errands so we stopped in for a quick dinner! It was really good and the staff was very friendly!!

I’m torn between three and four stars. The food was good, but not great. The drive through wait was not too bad but it took a little while. The food was pretty fresh but the biscuits had a slight taste to them like they had been given life from a frozen state (a bit of freezer burn). Everything was satisfactory, but nothing stood out as amazing. In short, I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back here, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to avoid it either. I guess I answered my own question. Three stars it is then. It was almost four stars (if only it wasn’t for the freezer burned biscuit)!
