Great shop with even better customer service. Great variety of snacks, knickknacks, and English must haves. After I dropped the ball on picking up my child's favorite candy bar as a stocking stuffer, I made a call to Redcoats and they pulled a few off the shelf for me to pick up. If you haven't visited, you're missing out.

This is not the the Wal-mart of Britishness--you won't find anything & everything under the sun but you will find something interesting, something that tastes good, or something that tastes interesting. Talked to the Owner a bit & just had a relaxing visit someplace new. Check it out, you won't be disappointed--we'll be back.

Fun store in Overland Park! The owner was very friendly and it was nice to talk to him. He was very helpful with our questions. The store is clean and well-organized. I was able to find my favorite British items quickly (hob nobs and Cadbury chocolate). We also bought some jam and honey mustard.

Standard safety practices
When I was last at the store I didn't see any, but that may have changed.
They are not a restaurant so I don't believe they serve any food or drink however they sell many popular teas from the UK as well as some very beautiful tea services/pots.
I think I saw some publications in a wire basket but since I wasn't looking for such I didn't explore what was in the basket. They are very nice people there. You could probably ring them up and ask and they could advise what publications they have.
