Great place to relax. The views from up here are amazing where you can see all of Long Beach all the way to LA. There's a typically a food truck there as well. The only challenge is parking. It can fill up rather quickly but the adjacent streets usually have open spaces but it might be a short walk away.

Fresh air, bright green grass, crisp view of the ocean , and a better view of a few different surrounding cities. Can be seen from the top of this hill. It’s Peaceful & it’s a great area to vibe. This place is perfect for an awesome sunset picnic 🧺 OR amazing for a beautiful sunrise hike 🏃🏻♀️🌞☀️☀️🌄🌞🌞🌞 ❤️

Great hill top park to visit. You can see Catalina Island, DowntownLongBeach, Downtown Los Angeles Skyline and Long Beach Airport.

This is such a beautiful place to watch the sunset. I have to say it was pretty crowded for a Sunday evening and the parks kind of small but you can't beat the view of the harbor, ocean, mountains and Long Beach Airport on the other side. Then once the sunsets and the lights come on all over Southern California you still have beautiful pictures to take.

Actually, it's a better place to see the sun set. If you go east a few blocks to just above Discovery Well Park, that's where you can see the sunrise.
Yes parking is totally free. Beautiful views and it has it's own parking!
It all depends on your pace, one way straight to the park I would say 10-15mins.
You can see the water from where it is a 10 minute drive away from this Hilltop park.
Perhaps. Not sure if the city needs to know. It's a small park on the hilltop but there is a secondary one east of it in the residential area
